The Flickr gallery below was made to advocate for the end of eating dog meant and cat meat in Vietnam. Much of the time the animals are stolen pets and treated very badly.
Some progress has recently been made in Hoi An where the initiative is to phase out the eating of dogs and cats over the coming years. But we think it should also be banned in the whole of Vietnam.

Up to 10 million dogs are eaten in Vietnam each year and they are even counted as livestock like chickens, pigs and cows on the official census. There were 10.7 million dogs in farms for meat in 2019. Plus thousands of dogs are stolen from their loving family homes, breaking people's hearts.
